Are they all the same?

Kevin T. Gilbert has photographed them all. From years of photographing four Presidents at the White House to shooting the fictional West Wing TV show, traveling with Donald Trump on the Apprentice, or sitting on a glacier in Patagonia for the Eco Challenge. In covering Super Bowls and Super Power Summits, Kevin can simply find all those magic moments - even with his 14-year-old triplets. This course will emphasize photographing people in their element with natural light. The glow at Sundance is an easy remedy for spectacular images. We will seek the perfect image with that unique journalistic twist. The course will emphasize the photography of found situations in that perfect light and making pictures out of nothing!

Biography
Kevin Gilbert is the CEO and Founder of Blue Pixel. He is a 24-year veteran photojournalist based in the Washington, DC area, where he has covered superpower summits, professional sports, national political campaigns, as well as the news of Washington and the world. In the late 90s, Kevin left day to day photojournalism to pursue his real love of television, by becoming a contract photographer for Discover Channel, which led him into the world of reality TV, where has shot 15 shows for Mark Burnett, creator of The Apprentice, The Contender and Survivor. He also mimics his past by shooting stills on the West Wing TV show on NBC. Kevin is a frequent speaker and contributor to national organizations around the world, and travels extensively.
