Photographing on the move in foreign places requires the combination of technical expertise, culture competence, intuitive awareness, curiosity and a dash of panache. Nevada Wier, a specialist in adventure and travel photography, will discuss how to combine these technical, practical and creative aspects of travel photography in order to get an image that elevates itself above the usual travel clichés.
The stunning surroundings of Sundance provide a spectrum of environments and activities that serve as our photographic backdrops. Workshop topics include: discussions on photographing people, understanding color and light, shooting in all elemental conditions, creative use of fill-flash, and digital concerns in a variety of travel and outdoor environments.
